Review

James Phelan once again delivers a fast paced read that captures readers attention with his creative world building and absorbing plot.

Jesse is sixteen and is doing his best to survive the aftermath of an apocalyptic event, chemicals have turned people into crazed ‘zombiesque’ hunters. Jesse is a walking talking meal, whose running for his survival and looking for fellow survivors.
When Jesse does find other stragglers, there is a sense of uncertainty, fear, hope and longing for companionship.

I loved this and will have to give this review some serious thought on how to sell this series to customers without giving away any spoilers. It s an amazing series and one I would highly recommend, James Phelan has an amazing talent for writing epically gritty YA fiction that hooks readers in. I'm excited to see what he produces next.
